On September 18, 2026, we had the opportunity to visit the KRKA production site in Novo Mesto, Slovenia, including the impressive NOTOL 2 facility.

It was a valuable opportunity to experience firsthand the advanced technologies behind modern pharmaceutical manufacturing, from highly automated and robotized production processes to sophisticated computer-controlled material flows and advanced high-bay storage systems.

NOTOL 2 is a state-of-the-art facility for solid dosage forms, distinguished by its high level of digitalization, automation, and robotization. Its technological excellence was recognized with Slovenia’s Factory of the Year Award in 2018.

Seeing this level of technology, precision, and innovation in action gave us an even deeper appreciation of the expertise and quality behind KRKA.
